Most folk go as an individual from their own church to join up with others on a Summer Outreach teams which provide an opportunity for you to work with new people and explore new ideas. It can also work well for a youth group or a small group from a church to plan to go as a team. It may be that there are teams coming to work at your church or near you, and it may be possible to join in and help even if you can’t travel away far from home. Take the first steps now towards joining a team this year.

  • Discuss your ideas with your church leaders
  • Research a team that you could join (see opportunities below)
  • Explore with a youth leader if a small group could go together form your church on a mission
  • What skills and experience do you have that could be useful on a mission team?
