Stepping Out – a development pathway for church workers

Stepping Out aims at developing and equipping new and potential church workers for the changing spiritual and ministry environment faced by contemporary churches, especially those of a Brethren origin or with similar ethos. It can also be shaped as a preparation for overseas mission work, and combined with some service outside UK as part of the ministry training. The scheme is a form of scholarship that provides up to 50% of the training costs for the first two years of an orientation period into Christian ministry.

The main part is a 2 year accredited training programme (Dip HE in Biblical studies and Christian Ministry) managed by Tilsley College (GLO) followed optionally by a further two years mentored support in Christian ministry. For full details read or download the brochure.
